DD0037: Leadership Course: ADO/Chiefs Series - Measuring Quality of Dental Care
This course is part of the ongoing monthly leadership webinar series available to Area Dental Officers, Dental Support Centers, and Dental Directors/Chiefs. This course is available for live viewing on 9/5/17 and recorded viewing 1-2 weeks later; details on viewing the webinar will be sent out via the IHS Dental Chiefs Listserv.
Upon completion of this course, participants will be able to:
1. Define the IHS quality measure utilized in the Improving Patient Care Initiative;
2. Explain limitations in measuring quality of care in the IHS;
3. List three or more ways to measure quality of care delivered in an IHS or Tribal dental setting.

Participants should be current Area Dental Officers, work in Dental Support Centers, or serve as a Dental Director/Chief or Deputy Dental Director/Deputy Chief at an IHS, Tribal, or IHS-funded Urban dental program. This session will be recorded for later viewing.
Tuition must be paid in full 8 weeks prior to the start date of any course. Request for refunds must be received in writing at least two weeks before the course begins. For each refund request, there will be an administrative charge of $100. No refunds will be made to registrants who fail to attend a course. If IHS CDE program cancels a course, then 100% of the tuition will be refunded.
