This one-hour in-person course is part of the ongoing ANMC Study Club and is only open to dental staff from ANMC.

The NYU-Lutheran Pediatric dental residents at the Alaska Native Medical Center will present their research projects, a culmination of two years' work, in the areas of oral sedation, endodontic therapy, and preventive dentistry.

Learning Objectives:

Upon completion of this course, participants will be able to:
1. Discuss midazolam-hydroxyzine vs. midazolam-hydroxyzine-ketamin oral sedation;
2. Describe success rates of pulpotomy vs. pulpectomy techniques; and
3. Explain the importance of sealant placement on permanent first molars.

Tuition Policy:

Tuition must be paid in full 8 weeks prior to the start date of any course. Request for refunds must be received in writing at least two weeks before the course begins. For each refund request, there will be an administrative charge of $100. No refunds will be made to registrants who fail to attend a course. If IHS CDE program cancels a course, then 100% of the tuition will be refunded.
