The course is LIVE on 5/10/17 but the recorded session is available until 5/09/2020.

The session will include a discussion of the frequency with which hypoglycemia occurs, the risk factors providers need to be aware of, and the morbidity and mortality associated with hypoglycemia. Collaborating with patients to set realistic blood sugar goals to avoid hypoglycemia will also be discussed.
Upon completion of this course, participants will be able to:
1. Outline the signs and symptoms and treatment for mild, moderate and severe hypoglycemia.
2. Describe pharmacologic and non-pharmacologic risk factors for hypoglycemia.
3. Work collaboratively with patients with type 2 diabetes to share in decisions about therapy and treatment goals.
