This one-hour in-person course is part of the ongoing ANMC Study Club and is only open to dental staff from ANMC/SCF.

This course will provide a historical perspective of glass ionomer, its current usage in preventive and restorative dentistry, and what types are available at Southcentral Foundation/ANMC clinics.

Learning Objectives:

Upon completion of this course, participants will be able to:
1. Describe the history of glass ionomer development and use;
2. List three indications for the use of glass ionomers; and
3. Provide a list of glass ionomer materials available locally at ANMC/SCF.

Tuition Policy:

Tuition must be paid in full 8 weeks prior to the start date of any course. Request for refunds must be received in writing at least two weeks before the course begins. For each refund request, there will be an administrative charge of $100. No refunds will be made to registrants who fail to attend a course. If IHS CDE program cancels a course, then 100% of the tuition will be refunded.
