DA0027: Orthodontic Assistant Training - Customer Service, Teamwork, Accountability, & Efficiency
This 3-part CDE course, available to the dental assistants at the Albuquerque IHS Dental Clinic, is designed to discuss the importance of teamwork, using the example of Walt Disney, and to discuss how to become more accountable and efficient in the orthodontic practice.
Upon completion of this 3-part course, participants will be able to:
1. Describe characteristics of a quality orthodontic dental assistant;
2. Utilize different methods to enhance communications with patients; and
3. Explain how to improve accountability and efficiency in an orthodontic practice.

Tuition must be paid in full 8 weeks prior to the start date of any course. Request for refunds must be received in writing at least two weeks before the course begins. For each refund request, there will be an administrative charge of $100. No refunds will be made to registrants who fail to attend a course. If IHS CDE program cancels a course, then 100% of the tuition will be refunded.
