DD0016: Leadership Course: ADO/Chiefs Series - Oral Health Promotion/Disease Prevention, the POARE Model, GPRA
This course is part of the ADO/Dental Chiefs/Dental Directors ongoing webinar series designed to provide Area Dental Officers and dental managers with both practical information and leadership information to help them do their jobs better.
Upon completion of this course, participants will be able to:
1. Describe the IHS organizational structure from HQ to field and the types of dental programs across the IHS system.
2. Differentiate the different types of employment and personnel systems available to all dental staff in IHS direct or Tribal programs.
3. Understand IHS dental standards and centralized location of standards regarding infection control, oral health promotion disease prevention, quality of care and clinical efficiency and effectiveness.

ADA CERP does not approve or endorse individual courses or instructors, nor does it imply acceptance of credit hours by boards of dentistry. No tuition required
Tuition must be paid in full 8 weeks prior to the start date of any course. Request for refunds must be received in writing at least two weeks before the course begins. For each refund request, there will be an administrative charge of $100. No refunds will be made to registrants who fail to attend a course. If IHS CDE program cancels a course, then 100% of the tuition will be refunded.
