Summary:

This webinar will present improvements in oral health among American Indians and Alaska Native children over the past decade, introductory messages from the USPHS Chief Dental Officer and the ADA President, and tips for holding a successful GKAS event by the IHS Dental Director and the CDC Division of Oral Health Director.

Learning Objectives:

Upon completion of this webinar, participants will be able to:
1. List three improvements in the oral health of American Indian/Alaska Native children in the past decade;
2. Describe infection control procedures for community-based GKAS events; and
3. Implement a GKAS activity between February 17, 2021 and July 1, 2021.

Tuition Policy:

Tuition must be paid in full 8 weeks prior to the start date of any course. Request for refunds must be received in writing at least two weeks before the course begins. For each refund request, there will be an administrative charge of $100. No refunds will be made to registrants who fail to attend a course. If IHS CDE program cancels a course, then 100% of the tuition will be refunded.
