DE0329: Portland Area Webinar: Dental Operations During COVID-19
This is a webinar for Portland Area dental staff only.
The Dental Covid-19 Operations session will assist Portland Area clinics in managing resources to best serve their communities. A recent Portland Area Survey will be used to assess needs and will be the foundation for this session. The meeting will be focused on collaboration among the northwest dental clinics to assist in taking the next steps in clinic operations in the mist of the Covid-19 pandemic.
Upon completion of this course, participants will be able to:
1. Use current guidelines from the CDC, OSHA, IHS and the ADA [WA/OR/ID DOH as applicable] for necessary planning and strategies for dental clinics operations.
2. Know how to prioritize patient appointments based on staffing, supply levels, engineering/administrative controls and other factors amid the COVID-19 pandemic.
3. Know the appropriate PPE for patient care; with a focus on aerosol generating vs. non-aerosol generating procedures.

Tuition must be paid in full 8 weeks prior to the start date of any course. Request for refunds must be received in writing at least two weeks before the course begins. For each refund request, there will be an administrative charge of $100. No refunds will be made to registrants who fail to attend a course. If IHS CDE program cancels a course, then 100% of the tuition will be refunded.
