Summary:

This is the quarterly USPHS Dental Webinar, and will be held from 1:30 - 2:30 p.m. CT on Wednesday, January 26, 2022. This webinar is open to all USPHS dentist and dental hygienist officers, and dentists from agencies served by the USPHS. However, CDE is available only to USPHS dental officers and to IHS dentists and dental hygienists.

Learning Objectives:

Upon completion of this course, participants will be able to:
1.    Know how to find and utilize other resources for opioid stewardship and acute dental pain management.
2.    Know how to utilize the IHS DOH web portal to locate the IHS Opioid Stewardship Initiative webpage.
3.    Describe some of the oral effects of marijuana use, and the similarities between marijuana and tobacco.

Tuition Policy:

Tuition must be paid in full 8 weeks prior to the start date of any course. Request for refunds must be received in writing at least two weeks before the course begins. For each refund request, there will be an administrative charge of $100. No refunds will be made to registrants who fail to attend a course. If IHS CDE program cancels a course, then 100% of the tuition will be refunded.
