DE0519: IHS Monthly EDR Series: IHS Dentrix Clinical Note Templates 2020 Script Update [Recorded Webinar]
Previous EDR webinars demonstrated how to set up Clinical Note templates and prompts. This webinar will be devoted to actual use of the templates for most accurate - and efficient - documentation of patient treatment. Best practices for editing templates and prompts to ensure all key information is documented will be discussed. Dr Knutson demonstrates use of several types of Clinical Note templates.

• Review the IHS Dentrix Clinical Note template update script
o What Templates and prompts will be created / or updated?
o How to ensure locally edited prompts are not changed with the update script
o Understand the use of a single or double asterisk in template and prompt names

Upon completion of this webinar, participants will be able to:
1. Explain the purpose of using “Grouped Prompts” setting for templates;
2. Demonstrate how to edit an existing prompt;
3. Identify the difference between “Checkbox” and “One Response from List” prompt options.

Tuition must be paid in full 8 weeks prior to the start date of any course. Request for refunds must be received in writing at least two weeks before the course begins. For each refund request, there will be an administrative charge of $100. No refunds will be made to registrants who fail to attend a course. If IHS CDE program cancels a course, then 100% of the tuition will be refunded.
