In this 3-part series we will address 1]An overview of Alzheimer’s disease and related dementias, with specific implications for Oral Health and 2] The value for Oral Health Services of early detection of cognitive impairment and opportunities and approaches to detection in Oral Health.

Speakers:
Dr. Bruce FInke serves as the IHS Elder Care Consultant, a position he has held since 2006. In this role, he provides consultation on Alzheimer's Disease and related dementias. Dr. Eric Jewell serves as the IHS National Periodontal Consultant and has researched the relationships between cognitive disorders and periodontal disease. Tuition Policy:

Tuition must be paid in full 8 weeks prior to the start date of any course. Request for refunds must be received in writing at least two weeks before the course begins. For each refund request, there will be an administrative charge of $100. No refunds will be made to registrants who fail to attend a course. If IHS CDE program cancels a course, then 100% of the tuition will be refunded.
