2025 Catalog: All Courses

This series of courses was created to help standardize instructors and supervisors on what is being taught to Dental Health Aide Therapy students at I?isa?vik College/ANTHC Alaska Dental Therapy Educational Program. These interactive courses teach evidence-based information and set the foundation for teaching. They serve as a way to help calibrate faculty and educate future supervisors on the ADTEP Clinical Curriculum.

This course has multiple sessions. DO NOT claim CDE credit until you have completed all the desired sessions from this course that you want to take.

Upon completion of this course, participants will be able to:
1.   Recognize the benefits and limitations of a periodontal screening [Community Periodontal Index - CPI]
2.   Understand when and how periodontal risk, diagnoses, and treatment planning options are designated [Periodontal Disease Assessment Guide]
3.   Diagnose periodontal disease cases [gingivitis and periodontitis]

Tuition must be paid in full 8 weeks prior to the start date of any course. Request for refunds must be received in writing at least two weeks before the course begins. For each refund request, there will be an administrative charge of $100. No refunds will be made to registrants who fail to attend a course. If IHS CDE program cancels a course, then 100% of the tuition will be refunded.
