The dental profession involves repetitive motions, awkward postures, and sustained physical exertion, which can lead to musculoskeletal strain and fatigue. This course focuses on implementing effective ergonomic strategies to mitigate these challenges. Topics include optimizing clinician positioning, selecting appropriate instrumentation and armamentarium, and utilizing supportive aids to reduce clinician fatigue. By integrating these ergonomic practices, dental professionals can enhance their comfort, efficiency, and overall well-being.

Upon completion of this training/course, participants should be able to:
1. Identify ergonomic challenges
2.    Learn about various aides to help the clinician
3.    Learn and participate in stretches to help reduce clinician fatigue

Tuition must be paid in full 8 weeks prior to the start date of any course. Request for refunds must be received in writing at least two weeks before the course begins. For each refund request, there will be an administrative charge of $100. No refunds will be made to registrants who fail to attend a course. If IHS CDE program cancels a course, then 100% of the tuition will be refunded.
