Established in 1968, the Phoenix Indian Medical Center Auxiliary manages a gift shop within the Phoenix Indian Medical Center (PIMC). It is an independent organization that serves patients, staff and visitors by selling American Indian/Alaska Native jewelry, art, blankets, pottery, beadwork, sand paintings, purses and many other arts & crafts. Many items are purchased directly from the indigenous artists who create them. Additionally, the gift shop sells snacks, magazines, books and toys.
Proceeds from the gift shop are used to fund PIMC community events as well as provide annual scholarships to American Indian/Alaska Native students via the Indian Health Career Awards (ICHA) program.Gift Shop Hours
