CRS 2012 (v12.0 and v12.1)

CRS VERSION 12.1

CRS Version 12.1 Patch 1 was released on June 26, 2012.

Key enhancements included in CRS Version 12.1 are shown below.

  • Updated logic definitions for the following National GPRA & PART Report topics: Diabetes: Glycemic Control, Diabetes: LDL Assessment, Diabetes: Nephropathy Assessment, Diabetic Retinopathy, Cancer Screening: Pap Smear Rates, Comprehensive CVD-Related Assessment, HIV Screening.
  • Added the following new GPRA Developmental measures:
    • HIV Screening (past 5 years, ever, with CD4 count)
  • Deleted the following GPRA Developmental measures:
    • HIV Screening (Dev pregnancy logic #1)
    • HIV Screening (Dev pregnancy logic #2)
  • Updated the following GPRA Developmental measures:
    • Diabetic Retinopathy; Cancer Screening: Pap Smear Rates; Colorectal Cancer Screening (Revised Logic #1-HEDIS); Comprehensive Cancer Screening; Alcohol Screening; Intimate Partner (Domestic) Violence Screening; Depression Screening, Comprehensive CVD-Related Assessment; HIV Screening; Sexually Transmitted Infection (STI) Screening; Use of High-Risk Medications in the Elderly
  • Revised logic definitions for several non-GPRA topics.
  • Added one new topic to the Selected Measures Report: Hepatitis C Screening
  • Added new measures to the following topic: Adolescent Immunizations
  • Added topics to the Other National Measures Report: Hepatitis C Screening.
  • Updated CRS Graphical User Interface (Visual CRS): The GUI will contain all functionality included in CRS 2012 Version 12.1.

CRS VERSION 12.0

CRS Version 12.0 was released on January 11, 2012.

Key enhancements included in CRS Version 12.0 are shown below.

  • Updated logic definitions for the following National GPRA & PART Report topics: Diabetes: Blood Pressure Control, Access to Dental Service, Influenza, Childhood Immunizations, Comprehensive CVD-Related Assessment.
  • Added the following new GPRA Developmental measures:
    • Diabetes: Blood Pressure Control (added BP < 140/90)
    • Diabetic Retinopathy (excluded patients with bilateral blindness)
    • Access to Dental Service (added measure for patients with a dental exam who have had all treatment completed)
    • Sexually Transmitted Infection (STI) Screening (added measure for needed HIV screenings)
  • Updated the following GPRA Developmental measures:
    • Diabetes: Blood Pressure Control, Childhood Immunizations, Comprehensive CVD-Related Assessment
  • Revised logic definitions for several non-GPRA topics.
  • Added three new topics to the Selected Measures Report: Asthma Assessments, Medication Therapy Management Services, Self Management (Confidence)
  • Added new measures to the following topics: Asthma, Medication Therapy for Persons with Asthma, Prediabetes/Metabolic Syndrome
  • Removed topic: Asthma and Inhaled Steroid Use
  • Added topics to the Other National Measures Report: Asthma, Medication Therapy Management Services, Sexually Transmitted Infection (STI) Screening.
  • Added new Asthma (AST) local report.
  • Updated CRS Graphical User Interface (Visual CRS): The GUI will contain all functionality included in CRS 2012 Version 12.0.
