Approving a Course

Note: This Course Director function is not available after publication of a course.

Before publication, the CDE Administrator requests a course review. The Course Director must review and approve it for publication (inclusion in the catalog). This process ensures that the course information is complete and accurate. Follow these steps to perform this review and approval:

  1. Click the “My Instruct” tab in the main navigation

  2. Click the Course Number to go to the Edit Course wizard

  3. If it is not already active, click the “Approve” tab at the top of the form
  4. Inspect the details of the course
  5. If you agree, click the “Approve” link near the bottom of the page
  6. If you disagree, suggest changes in the comments section at the bottom of the page and click the “Deny” link
  7. Click the “Submit” button to finalize review and approval
