CDC STD Treatment Guidelines - 2015
These guidelines for the treatment of persons who have or are at risk for sexually transmitted diseases (STDs) were updated by CDC after consultation with a group of professionals knowledgeable in the field of STDs. The information in this report updates the 2010 Guidelines for Treatment of Sexually Transmitted Diseases.

Expedited Partner Therapy (EPT)
Expedited Partner Therapy (EPT) is the clinical practice of treating the sex partners of patients diagnosed with chlamydia or gonorrhea by providing prescriptions or medications to the patient to take to his/her partner without the health care provider first examining the partner.

An internet-based STI intervention to promote education and testing developed by Johns Hopkins University and in collaboration with the Baltimore City Health Department and the Region III Infertility Prevention Project (IPP). The project provides free and confidential chlamydia testing kits available by phone or online for residents of Alaska, Denver, CO, Maryland, West Virginia, Philadelphia, PA, Washington, D.C., and select counties of Illinois

- National Coalition of STD Directors
The National Coalition of STD Directors (NCSD) is a partnership of public health professionals dedicated to the prevention of STDs. NCSD provides dynamic leadership that strengthens STD Programs by advocating for effective policies, strategies, and sufficient resources and by increasing awareness of their medical and social impact.
- National Network of STD/HIV Prevention Training Centers
The National Network of STD/HIV Prevention Training Centers (NNPTC) is a CDC-funded group of regional centers created in partnership with health departments and universities. The PTCs are dedicated to increasing the knowledge and skills of health professionals in the areas of sexual and reproductive health.
- Project Red Talon
Project Red Talon provides STD training and program technical assistance to tribal medical providers, health professionals, and community health advocates while facilitating the implementation of STD prevention interventions and disseminates community outreach materials to NW tribes.
