DE0291: National Children's Dental Health Month 2020: Advocating for Children's Oral health [Recorded Webinar]
National Children’s Dental Health Month [NCDHM] was created by the American Dental Association [ADA] in 1941. Each year, the ADA creates posters and articles to help promote oral health. This course will discuss strategies to relay these messages to patients and promote the IHS' involvement for the first time in Give Kids A Smile Day/Week scheduled for February 3-8, 2020.
Upon completion of this webinar, participants will be able to:
1. Describe at least two effective strategies to market the NCDHM messages in your program;
2. Describe ways you can measure the effectiveness of your NCDHM marketing;
3. Recognize community partners, local needs, and resources to implement a successful NCDHM program; and
4. Implement strategies to promote Give Kids A Smile Day February 3-8, 2020.

Tuition must be paid in full 8 weeks prior to the start date of any course. Request for refunds must be received in writing at least two weeks before the course begins. For each refund request, there will be an administrative charge of $100. No refunds will be made to registrants who fail to attend a course. If IHS CDE program cancels a course, then 100% of the tuition will be refunded.
