Department of Health and Human Services Strategic Plan
The Division of Planning, Evaluation, and Research staff has represented the Indian Health Service in the development and updates of the Strategic Plan for the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) every four years. In this effort, IHS strives to assure that the IHS Goals and Objectives align with those in the Department Plan through a crosswalk of goals and objectives. The most recent DHHS plan, FY 2018-22, developed in 2017-2018 with IHS and DPER representation is found at: the HHS Strategic Plan website for more information about the HHS Strategic Plan FY 2018-2022.
