The Notice of Funding Opportunity (NOFO) announcement for Zero Suicide Initiative (ZSI) became available on November 4, 2021. The purpose of the ZSI funding is to improve the system of care for those at risk for suicide by implementing a comprehensive, culturally-informed, multi-setting approach to suicide prevention in Indian health systems.
This funding opportunity is open to Tribes, Tribal organizations, Urban Indian organizations (UIOs), and IHS Federal facilities. The application deadline is February 2, 2022.

Technical Assistance Webinars
The ZSI Program Official will host two webinars on December 9, 2021 at 3pm ET and January 12, 2022 at 3pm ET for those interested in applying for the Zero Suicide Initiative (ZSI) Notice of Funding Opportunity. Guidance will be provided to Tribes, Tribal organizations, Urban Indian organizations, and IHS Federal facilities on how to apply to include a brief overview of the new funding cycle, application and submission process requirements, proposal requirements, and a review of proposal templates.
