Although much of the recent attention on Alzheimer's disease diagnosis and treatment has focused on blood-based biomarkers and anti-amyloid infusion therapies, as significant a breakthrough is the large-scale demonstration of the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services Guiding an Improved Dementia Experience (GUIDE) Model. The GUIDE Model is a collaborative, integrated dementia care program for both Medicare beneficiaries living with dementia and their care partners. Approximately 400 providers are or are planning to deliver GUIDE throughout the U.S.
