NEW Clinical Dementia Training Series

The Indian Health Service (IHS) is offering training sessions to help improve how teams screen for dementia. Training will help staff find early signs, make a diagnosis, and support ongoing care for American Indian and Alaska Native people. This training series will help primary care providers in IHS, tribal, and urban clinics recognize and evaluate memory concerns. It will also cover how to diagnose mild cognitive impairment or dementia, review treatment, and support continued care in ways that respect cultural values.
