Year 1 Welcome Webinar: New 2017 MSPI Generation Indigenous (GEN-I) Projects

The Division of Behavioral Health hosted a welcome webinar for the newly awarded 2017 MSPI GEN-I projects – those that received brand new awards to complete work with Native youth and families for MSPI. The welcome webinar provided a program background overview for MSPI GEN-I, a review of best/promising practices for GEN-I projects, resources, and programmatic housekeeping items included an overview of the funding cycle, notice of award, technical assistance and official communication, Area Project Officer contact information, National Program Official contact information, the Division of Grants Management official contacts, required reporting information pertaining to financial reporting, annual progress reporting, and the MSPI online data portal and information on the Technical Assistance Providers for Evaluation. Payment Management System Training Webinar

November 30, 2017

The Division of Behavioral Health hosted a training on Payment Management System (PMS) for all grant projects, including MSPI grantees. The PMS is a one-stop shop for grant and cooperative agreement payments. The webinar training focused on the fundamentals of PMS, including how to complete a payment request, perform account inquires, run reports, access, and filling out the Federal Financial Report (SF-425). If you are current MSPI project staff or new to your MSPI project, please listen to the recorded webinar for information on PMS. NOTE: This training is specifically for MSPI grantees only. If you are a federal awardee, you do not use the PMS system.

Welcome Back! MSPI and DVPI Projects Webinar: Year 2

The welcome back webinar provided an update on what to expect for MSPI and DVPI projects and included information on upcoming items in the new project year that are of importance. The webinar included information on communication, technical assistance from Area Project Officers, National Program Officials, and the Division of Grants Management; and required reporting information pertaining to financial reporting, annual progress reporting, the MSPI online data portal, and the upcoming in-person MSPI/DVPI national meeting for all projects. MSPI/DVPI Important Project Updates and Q&A Session Webinar

Date: March 9, 2016

This technical assistance webinar addressed updates on important project topics. Topics covered included: continuation application kits; year-2 project narrative development; TA webinars; submission of quarterly financial documents; allowable/unallowable costs; and technical assistance contact information. Because many project staff will have the same questions and need clarification on the same topics/issues during this first project year, a 30-minute question/answer session was provided at the end of this webinar. If you are current project staff or new to the project, please listen to the recorded webinar for important updates, additional information, and to get answers to frequently asked questions.

MSPI Technical Assistance Webinars by Purpose Area

Purpose: Technical assistance (TA) webinars are being offered to grantees and IHS awardees to assist with the development of the Year 2 Project Narratives. The TA webinars will be provided by Purpose Area. One (1) TA webinar will be held each week throughout the next 4 weeks for each purpose area. The TA webinars offered each week provide an overview of the same content, so project staff do not have to attend all the listed webinars for their purpose area. Please choose the date/time that is the most convenient for you/your project staff and attend that TA webinar for your purpose area. Please see the tables below and identify your purpose area and see the list of dates/times available for each week.
