Welcome to New Sunrise

New Sunrise Regional Treatment Center (NSRTC) is a culturally grounded, adolescent behavioral health and substance use treatment facility serving Native American youth ages 13 to 17. Located in the heart of the Pueblo of Acoma in New Mexico, our center offers a safe, healing environment that integrates traditional values with modern clinical care.

We honor the wisdom of Indigenous communities while delivering evidence-based treatment that supports emotional, mental, physical, and spiritual wellness.

To provide high-quality, culturally relevant behavioral health and substance abuse treatment for Native American adolescents, empowering youth to reclaim wellness, cultural identity, and hope for the future.

Cultural/Traditional Awareness – Groups and activities to maintain and/or enhance cultural appreciation (i.e. moccasin making, pottery, traditional farming methods and Native cooking and sewing). Talking Circles, traditional speakers, Sweat Lodge and Reflection Room ceremonies are available.
