Data, Outreach, and Implementation Resources – May 9

Models of Dementia Clinical Care – April 25

Clinical Echo and Caregiving Echo Series

Beginning May 2023, a monthly Indian Country Indian Country Clinical Dementia ECHO Exit Disclaimer: You Are Leaving www.ihs.gov  started and will meet on the 2nd Thursday of every month at 2 pm ET/1 pm CT/11 am PT . The 1-hour virtual ECHO clinic allows clinical staff to participate in exciting case discussions, receive recommendations from an inter-professional team of specialists working in Indian Country, and join a learning community. This ECHO aims to strengthen clinical staff knowledge and confidence to detect, diagnose, and manage care for American Indian and Alaska Native people living with dementia and treat patients locally with holistic, culturally appropriate care.

Staff supporting family and caregivers of people living with dementia can join the Indian Country Dementia Caregiver ECHO Exit Disclaimer: You Are Leaving www.ihs.gov  each 4th Thursday at 2 pm ET/1 pm CT/11 am PT beginning Thursday, June 22. This 1-hour virtual ECHO will provide mentorship, peer support, and training for staff supporting the all-important caregivers of those living with dementia in our Tribes and communities.
