AAIC® Advancements: Exploring Equity in Diagnosis aims to advance science and collaboration around identifying, understanding and addressing disparities in an era of biomarker-based diagnosis for Alzheimer’s disease and other dementias. This two-day conference will bring together leaders from across disciplines, including academia, industry, philanthropy and government.
As science advances and evolves, it’s critical that we understand and address how disparities play a role in dementia diagnosis. From ethics in diagnosis disclosure to issues of inequity within health systems, this meeting will address some of the big questions that come along with creating equity in diagnostic practices.
AAIC® Advancements: Exploring Equity in Diagnosis will bring together leaders from various disciplines to address disparities in Alzheimer’s diagnosis, particularly in the era of biomarker-based detection. The event aims to identify and tackle barriers to equitable care for Alzheimer’s and other dementias, fostering collaboration and solutions across the field.
