The Indian Health Service Alzheimer’s Program works with tribal communities, health providers, and partner organizations to increase understanding of Alzheimer’s disease and other dementias in American Indian and Alaska Native communities. Outreach efforts focus on sharing clear information, supporting timely detection, and helping families and caregivers feel confident as they navigate dementia care.
