"Ynez" includes a blower, 8 tethers (4 ft. 10 inches and 4 ft.15 inches) and storage bag. Made from flame retardant 8.5 oz. vinyl-coated nylon.
Because "Ynez" is made of vinyl-coated nylon, we ask that you display her indoors, or on grass or concrete. (Asphalt leaves marks).
The colon is in a container with a handle and two wheels and cannot do stairs.
It takes approximately 30 minutes to setup and breakdown.
The inflatable colon is free standing, sits in a “U” shape and site 10’ tall when inflated, and if inside you will need to ensure adequate ceiling clearance of a minimum of 13’.
We recommend, for optimum showing, a space of 20 ft x 20 ft to accommodate room for a table and space for people to walk in and out.
The inflatable colon requires electricity, a 15-amp plug which needs to be within several feet of the pump. Extension cords must be less than 75 feet, or the blower will burn out. The sound of the exhibit is about the same as that of a hair dryer and must run continuously to keep the colon inflated.
The colon is wheelchair, stroller and motorized scooter accessible.

Transport options:

Coordinate with IHS CAO staff to pick up “Ynez” before your event and return her within 3 business days.
Invite IHS CAO staff to table at your event to provide education and if staff are available, they can deliver and return “Ynez” for you.
The program borrowing the colon is responsible for all handling, lifting and transportation of the colon.
