The California Area Indian Health Service is building capacity for cancer patient navigation, in partnership with:

  • California Rural Indian Health Board, Inc. (CRIHB)
  • San Diego American Indian Health Center (SDAIHC)
  • University of California, Davis (UC Davis)
  • University of California, San Diego

Target Audience: nurses, social workers, and community health representatives

Free online training begins with George Washington University.

Time Commitment of online training:  

  • 1-2 hours per week for 10 weeks (July 7 – September 12, 2025)
  • Friday Office Hours for group to review, discuss, and support learning

Free in-person training and billing support for 2 days:

Ongoing quarterly navigator support/education provided after the trainings.
