Overview

This help section gives general use information on the Division's Dental Directory web site. If you are looking for help on supervisory tasks associated with the Dental Directory, that is under “Supervisor Use.” If you are looking for help on navigating within the Dental Directory, please review “Navigation.” If you need assistance accessing the IHS Dental Directory, please read “Logging into the IHS Internet.”

The basic function of the Dental Directory is to locate personnel within the Division.

• Finding Personnel - by name, by area, by facility, and by position
• Editing Your Personal Information - to ensure that the information presented in the directory is accurate and current

The pages within the Directory web site used to fulfill these tasks are:

• “Directory Home” to log into the Indian Health Service (IHS) Internet
• “Directory” to find personnel within the Division of Oral Health
• “Personal Home” to view the contacts list, alerts, and indicators specific to your needs
• “Directory Listing” to view personnel contact and other information
• “Edit Listing” to edit personal information displayed by the Dental Directory
