Description:

This session will examine the connection between opioid overdose, hypoxia, and acquired brain injury, with emphasis on the cognitive and functional impacts of non-fatal overdose. Participants will learn how to recognize cognitive impairment in individuals with opioid use disorder and apply practical, culturally responsive treatment strategies tailored to resource-limited tribal settings.
