SDPI Impact Video
This video showcases the powerful impact of the Special Diabetes Program for Indians (SDPI), featuring interviews with grant program administrators who attended the 2024 SDPI Conference. Created by Congress in 1997 to address the diabetes epidemic among American Indian and Alaska Native (AI/AN) people, SDPI provides critical funding for prevention, treatment, and education. Through annual grants coordinated by the Indian Health Service (IHS), AI/AN communities have expanded access to high-quality diabetes care, strengthened prevention programs, and improved health outcomes across Indian Country.

- How do you know it has been successful? What examples or feedback do you have?
